Our Founder
RADIKAL was founded by Nora Jeanne Joseph, whose vision is deeply personal and rooted in the resilience of her family. Nora's inspiration comes directly from her own grandmother, an industrious Madan Sara — one of the resourceful women who form the economic backbone of Haiti, selling food and essentials on the streets.
All About Nora Jeanne
Since her childhood, Nora witnessed firsthand the incredible labor, financial risk, and unwavering dedication women like her grandmother pour into sustaining their families and communities, often with little formal support.

Recognizing that the power for change already existed within these women, Nora created RADIKAL. Crises like the 2010 earthquake crystallized a crucial insight: women street vendors are not just informal workers; they are the key to food security and the direct link between farmers and urban markets.

Through RADIKAL, Nora transformed this legacy. She created a structured, sustainable enterprise model that harnesses the tireless spirit of the Madan Sara, the Saradi entrepreneurs, by providing them with essential resources, training, micro-investment, and access to an integrated supply chain.

Nora's work is a powerful commitment to ensuring that the next generation of women entrepreneurs can build wealth, achieve economic stability, and drive climate resilience rather than simply surviving the informal economy. She is fundamentally changing how the world views the women who feed Haiti.
